Crosscheck is a Christ-centered athletic association with the mission of advancing and building God’s Kingdom through sports and exists to provide a competitive sports environment that honors Jesus Christ in all we do! We hope you’ll join us in that pursuit this season and encourage others to do the same.

Basketball is the lifeblood of Memphis and Crosscheck is proud to continue to serve hundreds of teams and thousands of players. Practices start in November along with our one-of-a-kind Hoop Summit, and games start during the first week of December. Crosscheck basketball games are played across 20+ gyms across the Greater Memphis area, and we focus on having league representation at all site locations to help keep a consistent experience no matter where the game is played, with a Ministry First, Sports Second mindset.

We are excited to bring back the Crosscheck Hoop Summit for the 2026–27 season!

For those unfamiliar with the Summit, teams will come together for a one-day event at the Memphis Sports & Events Center, with 16 gyms all under one roof. Throughout the day, teams will play condensed games against potential opponents in their age division, giving us another opportunity to evaluate teams before finalizing divisions for the season.

The Summit is also designed to help us kick off the season together. Our leaders and selected speakers will be able to cast vision for our league and season during our coach small group sessions. It’s a great opportunity to set the tone for the season as well as get an early look at their team’s strengths and areas to work on based on the games played that day.

The Crosscheck Hoop Summit provides valuable information to help create the best possible divisions while also creating an exciting and memorable start to the Crosscheck basketball season and we can’t wait to get underway.

DETAILS & RESOURCES

  • All basketball participants will register through our new Praxis registration form, no matter if you are participating on a school partner team, independent team, or a free agent registration.

    Please review the options below so when you register, you choose the right selection.

    COACHES - Please register yourself and be sure to mark your coaching interest so you will be presented with the correct questions during registration.

    UNIFORMS - Head Coaches will select whether Crosscheck is providing uniforms or team is ordering. For those creating own uniforms, you must communicate with Mike at mike@graceevan.org and have uniform design approved BEFORE ordering.

    School & Program Teams: Players register and select which school they are attending and participating with. Our staff utilizes the Hoop Summit while also working with a school / program leader to ensure correct league placement.

    Independent Team Registration: Players who were invited to play with a specific team and coach, please be sure to fill out the information so we can confirm with all coaches.

    Free Agent participants who are registering without a school partner nor independent team: Players who are registering as free agents want to participate but are not already associated with a school or independent team.

    We will do everything we can to work to place free agents together if enough register or try to add to existing teams if needed or necessary. We will remain in communication with those parents as we approach the deadline.

  • All coaches, head and assistants, are REQUIRED attend ONE coaches meeting to participate this season. During registration, coaches will select which meeting they plan to attend.

    Meetings will be held at Grace Evangelical Church at the “Porch” - we will send a map.

    2026 Meeting Dates:

    • Thu, Oct. 29 - 6:00pm - 7:15pm

    • Mon, Nov. 2 - 6:00pm - 7:15pm

    • Sat, Nov. 7 - 10:30am - 12:00pm

  • Boys Divisions:

    • 1st Grade Boys Division:

    • 2nd Grade Boys Division

    • 3rd Grade Boys Division

    • 4th Grade Boys Division

    • 5th / 6th Grade Boys Division

    Girls Divisions:

    • 1st / 2nd  Grade Girls Division
      (if enough teams we will split into separate divisions)

  • Teams can begin practicing as early as November 9, 2026.

    For teams practicing at Grace Evan gym, there will be specific dates available to practice in November that will be communicated.

    Tentative Playoffs & Championship Week of Feb 15 or 22nd - (finish before Spring Break)

  • The cost to play is $225 per participant. It includes the league fee, jersey, shorts, officials and insurance.

    If a school partner or independent team wishes to provide their own uniform, please contact us prior to registration as cost is affected and there are uniform guidelines that must be met.
