Flag Football

All football participants will register through our new Praxis registration form, no matter if you are participating on a school partner team, independent team, or a free agent registration.

For participants registering as part of a school team or independent team, the deadline is August 15, 2025.

For individual registrations (free agents) - there is an earlier deadline - this is closing August 1. While we are not able to guarantee a spot on a team, we will do everything we can. This earlier date allows participants more flexibility if a team does not have enough participants or there are no volunteer coaches. The best way to ensure this is volunteer as a coach and be in communication with our office.

Cheerleading

Cheerleading is available to those who are participating with a school partner (i.e. Briarcrest, ECS, St. George’s, etc.) There is not a free agent option for cheerleading in 2025.

For those who will be cheering with a school partner team, you will now register with the school directly. All costs will be managed through the school. Crosscheck will be working with each school partner who is participating with cheer to provide a medical release waiver and nominal fee per child to cover insurance.

All coaches, head and assistants, are REQUIRED attend ONE coaches meeting to participate this season.

Meetings will be held at Grace Evangelical Church, more information to come.

May be divided by grade and/or within a division (Ex: 1st Grade or East/West) based on the number of participants and/or number of teams in each division.

*** Note *** Should you have a participant within the grade level but outside of the age level listed below, you will need to complete this waiver request for consideration by the league.

Junior Pee Wee Division - Kindergarten & 1st Grade OR must be 5 years of age by August 1, 2024 and no older than 6 years of age before February 1, 2024.

Pee Wee Division - 1st & 2nd grade OR must be 6 years of age by August 1, 2024 and no older than 8 years of age before February 1, 2024.

Junior Division - 3rd & 4th grade OR must be 8 years of age by August 1, 2024 and no older than 10 years of age before February 1, 2024.

Senior Division - 5th & 6th grade OR must be 10 years of age by August 1, 2024 and no older than 12 years of age before February 1, 2024.

Practice can begin as early as Monday, August 11.

Teams must find their own practice space. Grace Evan offers a limited amount of practice space for teams.

Games will begin Saturday, Sep. 6.

There will be a mix of games on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Should there be a rainout, those games will be rescheduled if there is time and field availability to do so.

Playoffs are scheduled for the end of October with Championship Games the first week of November. Playoff participation/layout is dependent upon on the number of teams in each division. We’ll discuss this more during the coaches meeting.

Please note the costs in the Praxis registration may show slightly lower amounts until the checkout

The cost to play in the Flag Football League is $195 per participant. It includes the league fee, jersey, shorts, flags, and insurance. Teams will be issued league-approved flag belts.
